Though before creating any online presence, Willy made note that businesses and organisations should create a digital marketing strategy with a clear vision for their online profile. Discussion included defining marketing goals, identifying target markets, identifying the digital marketing platforms your target markets use, learn how to properly use each platform (Facebook, website, Instagram etc.), decide which platform works best for you and use the analytics provided and adjust your strategy if needed.
Willy provided examples from other businesses of what does and doesn’t work well and tools for businesses to simply and streamline organising and managing online platforms.
