Scott Jefferis and Hanna Chiswell from Landmark Dumbleyung managed to secure five excellent seats to the Fremantle vs Port Adelaide game at Optus Stadium this Sunday July 15th. Tickets were sold to the highest bidders via silent auction with the results soon to be announced. There are still a couple of tickets up for grabs, be sure to call Scotty (0429 929 964) if you’re interested. Bidding closes once all tickets are sold. The excellent package includes not only food and beverages, but also accommodation!! All proceeds will go directly to Megan.
Jamie Dare of Dare Farming is currently planning a community crutching event at his property. This can be a logistical nightmare, but fundraisers of this type have been held very successfully in the past - and this is to be no exception. The exact date is yet to be confirmed but is planned to be around the last week of August.
The Dumbleyung Tennis Club and Lake View Golf Club will assist in providing the crutchers, roustabouts, catering and logistics. Clem Henry of CK Henry Shearing Service is looking to run a shearing event on the same day.
If you are interested in being a part of this fantastic community endeavour, please contact Jamie Dare (0428 227 023) regarding the crutching day or Clem Henry (0427 634 003) regarding the shearing event.
Also available from Dare's farm is sheep manure - $5/bag (bag yourself) or $75 per ute or trailer load. Bring own ute or trailer and it will be loaded onsite. All proceeds to go to Megan.
Alternatively, if you would like to donate there is a Go Fund Me page set up for Megan. Please see https://www.gofundme.com/rare-congenital-venous-malformation.
