Community Garden to ‘grow’ after successful grant application

The Dumbleyung Community Garden Club is set to ‘grow’ after they were successful in receiving a grant from Department of Local Government and Communities. The grant of $9833 will allow the community garden group to expand its location towards the Dumbleyung caravan park, with plans to place an arbour and connect the two locations. The community garden also hope to install reticulation through parts of the garden and purchase other items required for the upgrade.

Congratulations to the Shire of Dumbleyung staff who assisted with this grant and to the community garden club for all your efforts in creating this great community space. If you have a spare moment, any time of the day please feel free to lend a hand and water the garden, pull weeds etc. Or for a donation (donation box located near garden shed) you can help yourself to some fresh produce.
