Rev Macarthur from the Blue Mountains, New South Wales and Mike Shaw of Bunbury are cycling from ‘Bunbury to Bondi’ as a personal challenge and fundraiser for the Broadening Horizons project.
The Broadening Horizons project takes young people with behaviour and lifestyle problems on the Overland Track in Tasmania to give them an experience they could not otherwise afford.
The cyclists began their journey on Monday 8th August from Grace Christian School in Bunbury where Mike is a parent. The pair enjoyed a visit to the Lake, while in Dumbleyung and reading about Campbell and of course, inspecting The Bluebird.
Vicky and Rick from the Roadhouse and the St Augustine congregation’s generosity and hospitality have seen them featured in the cyclist’s blog.
