Forget the cinemas, we're taking the movies outdoors and into the Community Garden!
This May the Dumbleyung CRC will host a Movies in the Garden for Neighbourhood Centre Week. Neighbourhood Centre Week in 2016 is all about Growing and Eating together and to celebrate we invite everyone to attend a movie in the Community Garden whilst enjoying home-made pizza using the herbs and ingredients grown in this great community initiative.
Movies in the Garden will be held on Friday May 13 and a recent PG film will be shown. Tickets cost $10 per adult and $5 per child/senior. Each ticket also includes a slice of pizza and a soft drink.
We encourage attendees to bring along camping chairs, picnic rugs, bean bags and sleeping bags and make themselves at home for what we hope will be one of many outdoor movie showings this year.
Tickets must be purchased prior to the event and are available from the Dumbleyung CRC from today April 13 til Wednesday May 11.
The location is weather dependent and we will inform the community and ticket holders should there be a change in venue.
