These fox shoot events not only bring the community together for a Landcare initiative and eradicate pest animals from our region, but the partnership between the Sporting Shooters Association of Australia (WA) and Red card for Rabbits and Foxes program continues to support and benefit not for profit Regional men’s Health Initiative (RMHI).
A $5 donation per pest culled from the Sporting Shooters Association of Australia (WA) resulted in RMHI receiving a donation of $20,000, assisting RMHI to continue their work of raising awareness of men’s health and wellbeing in regional WA.
This is the third year Sporting Shooters Association of Australia (WA) has supported the Red Card Program and RMHI, knowing and appreciating that their contribution is not only tackling the pest issue but contributing to an important regional health program. Over the last three years a total of $50,000 has been donated.
President of the Sporting Shooters Association Ron Bryant also confirmed the Associations commitment to the partnership for another four years.
The Dumbleyung Fox Shoot is held annually in March. For more information follow Dumbleyung Landcare on Facebook.
