The group dismantled and relocated unwanted playground equipment from the Dumbleyung Primary School to the Lakeview Golf Club .
They had to use their ingenuity, problem solving abilities, sheer muscle and strength to get the equipment out of the ground and out to the Lakeview Golf Course approximately 9kms out of Dumbleyung.
The men did a great job and were cheered on by a few of the children that will soon benefit from this equipment. For some, the excitement was to much to handle with many of the children testing the fun factor and playing before the cement had set!
The Lakeview Golf Club are fostering a family friendly club and hope to offer baby sitting regularly in 2016 for golfing families. If you are interested in playing golf but have small children, this new playground will be a wonderful addition to our club as they can play and be supervised by a organised babysitter, while you have a hit on the course.
The Lakeview Golf Club Open day is a fun day for everyone. Non golfers are invited to have a go and with golf clubs available (will be shared) on the day. The open day is scheduled for Saturday, April 23rd.
