
Participants came from all over the state for the one day SSAA State Steel Title event, which included a number of divisions for men, ladies, juniors and seniors. Each competitor completed five runs/shoots with the best four shoots taken for each competitors final result.
The Open Center fires Division saw Pistol Club President Steve Marris take out first place, Rob Griffiths from Cranbrook placed 2nd and local shooter Glen Cook, who has previously placed 8th at the Australian Championship finish in 3rd.
The event assists with the selection of the state team with successful competitors attending the 2016 National Steel Challenge.
