This has been an organised annual event under the Red Card for Red Fox program and due to dwindling participants this is under review. An alternative to this one night fox shoot is the distribution of subsidised fox baits to Farmers who have a permit. In the past we have secured local sponsorship and due to the generosity of these sponsors we have distributed some excellent prizes for the shoot.
ATTENTION!! – The nominated night for the shoot is SATURDAY 25th MARCH with the count and breakfast to be held in KUKERIN. To proceed with this event or carry out the alternative I require YOUR FEEDBACK either towards a shoot or subsidised baits. If no replies are received, I’ll consider that as a non interest for an organised fox shoot this year. I am aware that individual farmers undertake their own fox control prior to lambing and thank you for helping to reduce numbers as they are also killers of the local fauna and birds. Please ring or text Claudia on 98634225 or 0429612447 to lodge your feedback as soon as possible. THANK YOU!
