We recognise this year's ANZAC day in Dumbleyung at the ANZAC memorial site on Absolon Street. Those wanting to march in the parade are asked to assemble outside the CRC at 11.15am with the service to follow at 11.30am. Following the memorial, a light lunch and refreshments will be served at the Dumbleyung District Club.
In the lead up to ANZAC day the Dumbleyung Library has also received two new books from the Department of Veterans’ Affairs. The books - ‘A Bitter Fate - Australians in Malay and Singapore December 1941-February 1942’ and ‘Decision – Stories of leadership in the services’ provide readers with an insight into our military history. Pop into the Dumbleyung Library to view or loan!
