Name: Helen Bairstow Occupation: Jack of all trades How long have you lived in Kukerin Dumbleyung? 35.4 years How many children do you have? Three Why do you love being a Mother? It’s a privilege being a Mum and seeing your kids growing into adults and achieving lots of things along the way and then producing beautiful grandchildren. (It’s the best!!) What is something interesting about you and your children? That all three children have followed my footsteps and played hockey and still do. What food was hardest to feed your children? Mandarins and salad What is the worst advice you were ever given? My Mum would say to wake my sleeping children to feed them because they would be hungry! What is some wisdom you would share with new Mothers or Mothers to be? Spend and enjoy as much time with your littlies as you can, because you can’t wind the clock back. They grow way too fast and you don’t want to miss the special milestones and moments. Thank you Helen (pictured left) for being this week’s local of the week!
