Local of the Week Name: Liz Dare Occupation: Retired farmer, and I'm a gardener I think. How long have you lived in Kukerin/Dumbleyung: 50 years. If you won a first class ticket to anywhere in the world, where would you go? Greek Islands, I have always wanted to go there. Snow skiing or water skiing? I have water skied and attempted to snow ski. Jamie did try to help! Greatest joy? Swimming in the ocean, it’s beautiful! But I love to walk in the bush and look at the wildflowers and scenery. Also canoeing on the lake with like-minded friends! You can only eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be? Olive oil on toast with vegemite! Favourite book? Exodus. Although there has been lots and lots but I remember reading this two or three times Thankyou Liz Dare (pictured left) for being this week’s local of the week.
