Over 50 ladies descended upon the Dumbleyung District Club to help raise funds for the Dumbleyung Playgroup. Champagne flowed and all guests enjoyed delicious food courtesy of Tasty Treats Catering. Amongst the traditional Melbourne Cup Sweeps and raffles for the Dumbleyung Playgroup, many seized the opportunity to browse the pop up shops, Sand ’n’ Salt and Feet with Flair.

The Dumbleyung Playgroup would like to thank the following people and businesses for all their support in making the 2017 Dumbleyung Playgroup Melbourne Cup Luncheon another success! At the GODI, another celebration took place on horse number 22, ‘Rekindling’. A 4 year old bay stallion from UK win ‘Australia’s Greatest Race’! As locals gathered and placed their bets, everyone settled in to watch the race and enjoy platters of food and a delicious BBQ lunch. Well done to Lana Jose who won the lucky door prize!
