Five children attended the CRC school holiday activity and together created 11 amazing poppies which are on display in the front windows of the CRC. The masterpieces were created with paper plates and a variety of red coloured materials – overall a fun morning for all!
The second activity was to create a group wreath made from tracing children’s hands and joining them together as the shape of the wreath. Once the wreath was made children started to cut out little flowers to decorate the wreath. The unique and special wreath made by a few ‘mini Picassos’ of Dumbleyung will be presented at the ANZAC service later today.
Thank-you to everyone who attended the CRC school holiday activity, it made for a fun morning! Watch this space for more exciting events or if you’re stuck for other school holiday activities then why not attend a Dumbleyung movie Night on Friday April 27. Showing ‘Despicable Me 3’ – a movie for all ages! Contact the CRC on 9863 4829 for more information!
