Jane Smith from the Dumbleyung Hospital provided both information and answered many queries about the Home and Community Care program (HACC). Jane also shared the upcoming funding changes and the likely impacts.
Rebecca South from West Arthur CRC kindly spoke from her personal experience regarding the Patient Assisted Travel Scheme (PATS). Rebecca provided some great hints on how to fill in the forms which are available via your doctors and hospital. The PATS scheme is available to people of any age (not just seniors) and can assist with travel costs to specialists and the like.
