From 4-8pm Dawson Street became Party Street with balloons and plenty of space for people to sit back and enjoy the fun from 4-8pm. Charlie’s Pizza arrived early and had their wood fired pizza oven cranking with the waft of delicious handmade pizza filling the air as many indulged in Charlie’s pizza for dinner.
Dessert was also a hit with along came Henry Café selling out of ice-cream and the CRC selling out of fairy floss! As the sun set and the music played, a great crowd filled the space and the CRC would like to thank everyone who attended. An even greater thanks to Charlie’s Pizza and along came Henry Café for catering the event!
The party was organised to thank CRC members, the community and everyone who has supported the CRC in its first year of business. Support from the community has allowed the CRC to hold over 40 workshops and events with 350+ people attending, start a new community newsletter publication, the Quack Chat, and provide services that have previously not been available.
