This Mental Health Week we have combined these wonderful uplifting options and organised a Paws Walk ‘n’ Talk on Tuesday October 8th. Bring a long your dog (on a leash), or maybe even borrow a neighbours four legged friend and go for a wander and chat. No pet - no worries - you’re more than welcome to attend without your four legged friend too!
The event will leave from the side of the Dumbleyung CRC at 9.30am and will include an animal and owner participant focussed stroll around town, maybe even taking in some wildflowers on the way!
Mental Health Week runs from 6th to 12th October 2019, and has been running for more than 50 years. It is coordinated by the Western Australian Association for Mental Health (WAAMH), with support of the Government of Western Australia, Mental Health Commission and Lotterywest. The focus is on how we live, learn, work and play – realising it’s a combination of factors which impact our mental wellbeing.
Please pop into the Dumbleyung CRC, email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 9863 4829 to register your (and your four legged friends) interest.
