Overall, the Shire of Dumbleyung has been almost free of reported crime for a good month or so however, last month, we received a report of the theft of a large 20KVA generator from alongside the donga office at the truck bay road works east of town between Wishbone and White Well Roads on the Lake Grace Road.
This was a large piece of machinery which would have required a crane, loader or similar to lift and a heavy duty trailer or flatbed truck to carry. We ask that anyone who has information about this piece of plant or who may have seen suspicious activity at night in the area last month please contact us at the Dumbleyung Police Station or report it to Crimestoppers on 1800 333 000 if you wish to remain anonymous.
