In WA alone the RFDS services over 2.5 million square kilometres with 17 aircraft operating from five facilities (Jandakot, Kalgoorlie, Meekatharra, Port Hedland and Broome). Last year the RFDS reached more than 60,000 people, delivering life-saving aero medical evacuations and transfers and a range of primary health care services to those who live, work and travel across WA.
The RFDS play a huge role in WA and across Australia and in a bid to help raise funds, local community member Chloe McDougall has agreed to eat a variety of bush tucker delicacies for charity. Want to see Chloe eat a Witchetty Grub? Donate to Chloe and the RFDS/CRC and if she receives the greatest donations, Chloe must complete the dare!
Money donated to each person will be divided 50/50 and shared between their chosen charity and the Dumbleyung CRC (to help the CRC be more sustainable, given the proposed funding cuts to be implemented mid next year).
You can donate as little or as much as you like via these three methods,
CASH – Pop into the CRC or the Kukerin General Store and place your donation into the chosen person’s donation box
EFT – Call the CRC on 9863 4829 and donate over the phone via credit card. We’ll keep a record at time of phone call of who you are donating for. Please note a 2% surcharge applies.
DIRECT DEBIT – Donate online with the following details, BSB 302 162 and Account Number 083 0520. Please reference the name of the person you would like to donate to.
