During week one of the school holidays (Tuesday, July 3) we’re chilling out and enjoying pizza from 4.30pm til 6.30pm with an interactive and interesting presentation from local Sergeant Alby Van Den Berg chatting everything cyber safety! We’ll discuss social media, the dark web and the impact of our online footprint! The session is FREE to attend and registration essential! The session is recommended for teenager aged 15+.
Week two we’ll celebrate NAIDOC week (recognised from July 8 to 15) and cook up a storm of delicious lemon myrtle biscuits! Whilst morning tea is in the oven baking, we’ll complete NAIDOC word searches and colour in a ‘Pathway of our Ancestors’ mural. Each person will receive a section of the mural that will then be combined and on display in the front window for the month of July. The NAIDOC craft and cooking class will be held on Friday July 13 from 9.30am and costs $5 per person. Children aged 4 and younger must be accompanied by an adult.
Registration for both events are essential! Please contact the CRC on 9863 4829 or email admin@dumbleyungcrc.com.
