​Kukerin Primary School
  • Congratulations to the Junior Room and their teachers for a fantastic job in hosting the mid-term assembly!
  • Captains’ fundraising - Well done to Claire and Sam for coming up with the idea of providing a special fundraising afternoon tea for the people attending the assembly. Claire and Sam did almost all of the planning and organising, event down to choosing ‘The Smith Family’ charity to support. Together with the jellybean guessing competition a total of $259.35 was raised! The jelly bean competition was won by Chelsea Mott who guessed 652 jelly beans!
  • Well done to all students who participated in the Cross Country event earlier this term. Race results are as below:
Kindy-Year 1 – Eve Gray and Thomas Ditchburn
Year 2 to 4 – Ashleigh Faulkner and Kael Astbury
Year 5 to 6 – Claire Faulkner and Sam Doney
Well done to the following merit certificate winners – Alister Treloar (Kindy), Ryan Turner (Pre Primary), Tamzyn Kirby (Year 1), Grace Read (Year 2), Scarlett Leo (Year 3), Claire Read (Year 4) and Louis Davidson (Year 5). Well done to Aussie of the Month, Matilda Ditchburn!
  • P&C Raffle tickets – please support the P&C’s only fundraiser for this year, the $100 raffle. Tickets are $100 and prizes are - $2000 (First prize), $1000 (Second prize) and $500 (Third prize).

Dumbleyung Primary School
  • Thank you to all who volunteered at Cross Country earlier this term and congratulations to all student who participated, pushed themselves to compete, improve on last year’s performance and/or won a place!
  • Reminder to parents and students the importance of daily reading and keeping records of this in the school diaries. Literacy is a skill that requires daily practice over sustained periods to see continued growth.
  • Congratulations to Mariliis Koster who has joined the Dumbleyung Primary School Staff in the role of substantive permanent cleaner.
  • Thank you to Mrs Coad who is running ‘Breakfast Club’ this term – it’s great to see a jovial atmosphere with many smiling faces tucking into a yummy breakfast!

KP1 Girls 750m – First place, Abbie Smith (3m 42s), Second place Bridie Bartram, Third place Shayla Blake and Fourth place, Cleo Ward.
KP1 Boys 750m - First place, Darby Ball (4m 22s), Second place Edward Bartram, Third place Bailey Cronin and Fourth place, Braedlee Kirk.
Year 2/3/4 Girls 1000m - First place, Jasmine Cronin (4m 21s), Second place Mary-Lee Turvey, Third place Lexi Ward and Fourth place, Estella Scally.
Year 2/3/4 Boys 1000m - First place, Max Coad (4m 22s), Second place Flynn Bartram, Third place Eden Bairstow and Fourth place, Michael Hansen.
Year 5/6 Girls 1500m - First place, Sarah Hansen (8m 12s), Second place Hannah Cronin, Third place Denika Siklosi and Fourth place, Isabel Koster.
Year 5/6 Boys 1500m – First place, Lachlan Hesse (7m 15s)
