APRIL ROAD WORKS
The shire will be undertaking cement stabilising on:
- Fence Rd, near the Kulin Shire boundary
- 129 Gate Rd near Nairibin
- Bennett Street in Kukerin
WANDRRA Update:
Repairs to the flood damage, from over a year ago, are still continuing. So far works have been completed in the Datatine and Bullock Hills areas and are almost completed in the Nippering/North Nippering Areas. They will then head to the Dongolocking area and complete all projects West of the Fence Rd. The contractors will then move to Kukerin to begin works in the Eastern section of the shire. Thank you to everyone for their continued patience while you wait for the damage to be repaired in your area.
Works Requests
We have been working to ensure that there is a robust Works Request system in place at the shire. We do ask that Works Requests be put in writing, and this can be done at the shire office, via post/fax/email or through our website (which you can access on your smartphone).
It is not a Councillors role to be receiving works request, and as per Council’s Policy, any works requested by a Councillor is treated exactly the same as a request coming into the office, so it is quicker just to come straight to the office!
