DUMBLEYUNG MINI MALL – OPENING SOON
You may have noticed the fit out for the Dumbleyung Mini Mall has commenced with intended opening in November. We have received some exciting interest however this space allows for more. You can enquire to be a Shopkeeper for 6hrs per week or to simply display your items in the Mini Mall with sales managed by the Shopkeepers. It’s simple, affordable and a space to have a go! If you would like more information please call Nicole at the shire – even if it’s just the curiosity getting the better of you!

How will the Dumbleyung Mini Mall Operate?
We have two tiers of how you can be involved with the physical Mini Mall.
1.    Mini Mall Shopkeeper (Minimum 6hrs shopkeeping per week)
2.    Mini Mall Brand Display (No shopkeeping)
Both require an application/hire form to be completed at the shire office for approval.
What is the difference between a “Shopkeeper” and a “Brand Display”?
Brand Displays will pay a weekly hire fee of $20 for their items to be displayed and sold in the Mini Mall. This is for those who don’t have the time to shopkeep.
Shopkeepers will share the weekly hire fee of $50 for the space on a more permanent basis and manage displays, customer service and sales.

SEEKING INFORMATION - Recreation Plan 2018
The shire is currently reviewing the Recreation Plan with an aim to incorporate it into our suite of integrated plans. We would like to hear from individuals on where they think recreation is heading in the shire and what facilities, equipment and/or services we will need to support this. Please write in to the shire with your thoughtsceo@dumbleyung.wa.gov.au or PO Box 99, Dumbleyung WA 6350.
All clubs are invited to comment, if you haven’t received the email, please get in touch with us to obtain a copy.

Licensing update
There has been amendments to the ‘Application for a Farm Haulage Concession’ VL21 form
Should you require further information please call into the Shire office for an updated application form.

WE ARE NOW IN THE RESTRICTED BURNING PERIOD
19th September to 31st October
1st February to 31st March
Restricted Burning Period – It is unlawful to set fire to the bush during this time except in accordance with a permit obtained. The Restricted Burning Period can be varied i.e. shortened, extended, suspended, reimposed by the Shire 14 days at a time if seasonal conditions require.

Harvest Mass Management Scheme
Please be aware that the changes to the 2018 Harvest Mass Management Scheme has been finalised by Main Roads. If you want to drive a RAV Rated Vehicle on a Non-RAV Rated Road, part of the process will now be gaining endorsement for the road from Main Roads. Main Roads advises to do this as early as possible. There is more information regarding the 2018/19 Harvest Mass Management Scheme on the Main Roads Website
