PROPOSED REGIONAL PRICE PREFERENCE POLICY
Notice is hereby given pursuant to Section 24E of the Local Government (Functions and General) Regulations 1996, that the Shire of Dumbleyung intends to adopt a Regional Price Preference Policy.
The area prescribed in the policy includes the whole of the Shire of Dumbleyung.
Members of the public are invited to comment before the Council adopts the policy.  A full copy of the policy is available for viewing on the Shire website www.dumbleyung.wa.gov.au or at the Shire Administration Office, Harvey Street Dumbleyung during normal office hours.
Written submissions on the proposed policy are invited and can be forwarded to Shire of Dumbleyung, PO Box 99 Dumbleyung WA 6350, lodged via email to ceo@dumbleyung.wa.gov.au or in person at the Dumbleyung Shire office.
Submissions will be received until Friday 27 April 2018.

Dumbleyung Caravan Park – Male Ablution Upgrade
Please be advised that as of the 15/16 March the male toilets will be out of order at the caravan park as they are getting upgraded. This will mean that the female ablutions will become unisex until the completion of the work.
 

Road Inspectors Wanted
We would like for members of the community to volunteer to be a road inspector for the shire. The role will involve providing a quarterly report to the shire detailing the conditions of your road and any repairs required in your area. We would like inspectors across the shire, so if you would like to get involved, please send you nomination to the CEO, Matthew Gilfellon via emailceo@dumbleyung.wa.gov.au, through the shire office or via SMS 0429 634 012.
 
Expression of Interest - Lease of Dumbleyung Caravan Park
Expressions of interest are sought from persons interested in leasing the Dumbleyung Caravan Park. Interested persons can get in touch with the Shire’s CEO, Matthew Gilfellon, via phone 9863 4012, email ceo@dumbleyung.wa.gov.au or in person at the office.
The Dumbleyung Caravan Park earns just under $20,000 per year with one quarter being Bluebird Lodge and the other three quarters being Caravan Sites. Utilities cost around $5000 per year, currently there is just under 600 hours spent cleaning and 140 hours gardening.
