RESTRICTED BURNING PERIOD
19th September to 31st October
1st February to 31st March
Restricted Burning Period – It is unlawful to set fire to the bush during this time except in accordance with a permit obtained. The Restricted Burning Period can be varied i.e. shortened, extended, suspended, reimposed by the Shire 14 days at a time if seasonal conditions require.
PROHIBITED BURNING PERIOD
1st November to 31st January
Burning is also prohibited on Good Friday and Easter Sunday
Prohibited Burning Period – means that the time of the year during when it is declared by the Minister to be unlawful to set fire to the bush. Protective burning and burning to harvest clover can be carried out during this time only in accordance with a permit obtained.

A quick email to let you know the Club Equipment Subsidy Scheme is open from 26 September to 28 October 2016. If you are interested in applying for $500 toward new sporting equipment, more details are in the below email from the Department of Sport & Recreation. Clubs can apply online from 26 September to 28 October 2016 at http://www.dsr.wa.gov.au/funding/clubs/club-equipment-subsidy
Please note if you have received a club equipment subsidy in the May/June round 2016 you are not eligible to apply in this round.
