Dumbleyung Mens Hockey Club

A very elite array of men and women played for the Edwards Holden sponsored day with Marc Ball winning with a great 69nett and also scoring an Eagle on No 8. A novelty, runner-up with a fantastic score of 70nett with a 75 off the stick was young gun Eamonn Lanagan.  Gross was won by the ever reliable Graeme Jose.  Ladies winner was Tamara Bartram  backing up her score of 93 off the stick from last week with the same this week and runner-up was Cheryl Snell beating her stroke scores by 3.    Putting competition was drawn from 4 players with 26putts each the winner Eric Gossage.

Novelties were won by Eamonn, Marc, Ric Symes - casing out the course for the Men's Open on Sunday and Jamie Dare.  It was great to see Ric and Tim Zadow playing the course in preparation for the 4BBB with Tim hitting a magnificent 69 nett with an 80 off the stick.     Next Saturday will be sponsored by Katanning Brake and Clutch - Steve & Julie Hawkins - with a normal hit off time and names in by 12.00.   Thank you to all who have helped with the Men's Open Day; the course is looking fantastic.

We wish Claire Ward and Michael Atkins all the best next Saturday as they celebrate their wedding with mum Margie doing the honours of marrying them.
