The Dumbleyung Darts Club had our windup at the GODI on Saturday 2nd February. The GODI is a sponsor and presents a great venue. Thanks Pete. Also we are sponsored by Ricky and Vicky's Dumbleyung Roadhouse. Thank you.

All the team and some partners attended, but BJ, John Williamson, unfortunately could not attend.
The meal was followed by trophy presentation to give members bragging rites until the end of next season. The meal was great and all enjoyed themselves.

Our captain John Lee came away with a good showing in amongst the trophies with highest average, highest aggregate and most 100's.

Roadhouse Rick had most pegs, 16 and was deemed the most improved player for the year.
Graham Wilson had the highest peg of 120.

Graham won the club singles.

Ricky Mott and Graham won the doubles.

Congratulations to all and this sets the challenge for next year.

A suggestion was put forward that a crèche be set up and lowest average, from the previous week, be the baby sitter for the next game. Motion defeated.

Kukerin Bowling Club

Welcome back bowlers following our Christmas, New Year break. Some have been on holidays while other bowlers have been busy at various events during this period.  Ross Ditchburn, Graeme Smith, Matthew King, Clive Bahr, and Tim Adams were Kukerin’s representatives in the South Central Bowling League team at the Inter League carnival at Esperance and our league performed very well to gain second placing. Graeme Smith and Ross Ditchburn played well enough to earn selection into the Southern Zone team and played in the Inter-Zone carnival at Emu Point last week-end. Matthew King was also selected as a reserve for the event.

Debbie Smith, Bev Davidson, Therese King, and Jenny Joyce will be Kukerin’s representatives in the Ladies Interleague bowling carnival at Esperance next week-end. Best wishes from the club. Claudia Faulkner is also travelling as manager/selector for the team.

Next Sunday 10th February the men’s Club singles will commence and captain Ross will contact all players this week regarding starting times for the event.  There will be practice Friday from 5.00 pm for those available.  The pennant competition resumes on Saturday 16th February.
Good bowling to those bowlers travelling to various events this week.
