Dumbleyung vs Olympians 1  Saturday 7 May 2016

Ducks go down to Olympians 1

The enthusiastic Dumbleyung Ducks knew they had a netball game of epic proportions ahead of them playing against Olympians 1 last Saturday.  It was also the day Petronella Andersson stepped out onto the court to play her first netball game!  What a way to introduce the game of netball to our new player!  But Petronella was not alone on the court – we were all thrown into the deep end on this day.

To put it simply, Olympians 1 played were brilliant and not only through their skills; they showcased great sportsmanship to our team.  Despite the score, our Ducks held their heads high, with some great passages of play by holding our leads and shadowing players.  Onward and upward for our Ducks!

The final score was 14 – 75.  Our next game is this Saturday 14th May, against Fusions at 1pm on Court 4 at the Katanning Leisure Centre.
