The cougars held a home game on Sunday 4th June against Wickepin resulting in both D and B grade taking out the win on the home turf. This week the Cougars will travel to Narrogin to take on the Hawks at 2:30 PM Sunday 11th June. All are welcome to come, support and have a good time.

D Grade
14.8-92 vs 4.0-24
D Grade took out a massive win this week on their home ground to Wickepin. The little cougars held the lead for the whole game to take out the overall win. The best players went to H. Leo, D. Hall, F. Spark, M. Coad, and A. Davidson.

B Grade
17.11-113 vs 3.6-24
B Grade also brought home a win again holding the lead for the duration of the game. Goal kickers were N. Ditchburn (4) S. Jefferis (3) D. Leo (3) M. Ball (2) A. Gray, J. Ward, C. Davidson, J. Nenke, J. Tschmelak. Best players went to B. McDougall, S. Jefferis, A. Gray, C. Davidson, T. Smith

The Kukerin Rural Supplies - Kim & Michelle Gooding day was held on Saturday, and even though they could not attend, the club is very thankful of their awesome sponsorship.  A great field commenced the day with men vying for a ride in Jose's new cart and the ever reliable Bob Hannah's cart. Tamara did try to get a ride with Graeme but he very firmly kicked her out, no chivalry anymore!!

Congratulations to the men's winner, Stephen Roberts, who went out with one thing on his mind and that was to have a good round, which he succeeded in playing with his best ever score on the course of 77 off the stick, and in a Par event had a plus 10. The grandad of the club, Howie Ward, and welcoming back his wife  Margie from her Canadian 49 day visit to their new grandson, blitzed the course also with a plus 8, definitely not losing on a count back this day. I think we will attribute this to Margie's return.  The gross was won by Paul Ward who also had a great day with plus 5 - minus 8.
The women's winner, Tamara Bartram, scored with plus 4, with the Canadian beauty, Margie Ward, not to be outdone by her husband, and playing her 1st game for the season, was runner-up with an incredible plus 2. Goss was won by the Bionic Man's wife Davina Gossage, her brilliance on the 1st nine saw her have a 44 off the stick, but the mechanics were just not there for the next 9, missing her man we presume,  but the main thing was that everyone signed their cards.  Novelties were won by Stephen Roberts x2, Dave Wall, T Bartram x 2.

Saturday 10th June Lakeview is hosting the Great Southern Championship 4BBB, 27 holes, so all hands on deck for this great event.  Please give your names to Jamie Dare or email the golf club.  lakeview.dyg@gmail.com
