Kukerin Bowling ClubKukerin travelled to Kulin to play in the second semi-final on Sunday in a do or die effort to reach the pennant final. The game was played in ideal conditions which made for some very good bowls. The match began with one Kukerin rink galloping out of the blocks, two others gain an ascendancy while the fourth was struggling. As the afternoon wore on two Kukerin rinks kept in control while the third one was slowly reeled in by their Kulin opponents and on the fourth one Kulin were gaining a large margin. At the end of the game the result was two rinks to each club with Kukerin winning the aggregate by the narrow margin of four shots, to advance to the pennant decider next Saturday. The final will be played at Kondinin against Newdegate who defeated Kondinin in a thriller on Saturday by the narrow margin of five shots. There will be pennant practice on Friday afternoon commencing at 4.30 pm and it is hoped that all can make it, if possible.
