29 September saw a good crowd attend the last day of the Golf Season a Mixed Ambrose.  The Clem Henry Sponsored Day had Clem attend and play thanks to Danielle Bartram and even though both played with Tamara and played some fairly good shots over the 18holes,  ended up being named NAGA winners with 95gross 792/3 nett.  Thank you Clem for your continued sponsorship and a great day. Their playing opponents the Ward crew of Margie, Paul and Jon were entertained during this time and didn't deter them from coming runners-up with a great score of 72gross 612/3 nett, but in all honestly probably could have played a bit better but for the interruptions along the way.

Finally congratulations to the winners, Davina Gossage, Glenn Ball and Lee Smith the fill in Captain again for Jamie due to having to attend the Grand Final with wife Louisa and give her some support!!! -  with an awesome score of 70gross 58nett blitzed the field.  Novelties were won by BOSS, MOS RICK, DONGO MDS, LHR  & Clem who has only ever had 1 par on 18 with longest drive, with his 2nd on the green.

President, Eric Gossage thanked all committee members, players, life members and  all the wives who have backed their husbands to the hilt, coming out after golf to enjoy a few nibbles and drinks.  So thank you to all and sundry who have made our small club with big hearts a success for 2019.  Enjoy the off season and good luck to those attending other Open days during the year.

Winners of the Awards were:
Most Improved Men:  Jon Ward
Most Improved Ladies:  Davina Gossage
Eclectic winner Men - Dave Wall                Runner-up - Jamie Dare
Eclectic winner Ladies -Margie Ward Runner-up Liz Dare

Kukerin Bowling Club

Hello bowlers.  Yes, it is that time of year again.  Dust off the bowls bag, get the bowls clothes out and see if they have shrunk over the winter...or maybe a slight increase in the waistline!!

Kukerin Bowling Club season will open on Sunday 6th of October.

Members are asked to be in attendance by 2.00 pm for a short clean-up of the surrounds followed by organised social bowls for the rest of the afternoon.  We welcome all old bowlers back and invite any new and intending bowlers to join us for fun and fellowship during the upcoming season.  See you on the green.
