This Saturday April 22nd is Opening Day so come and enjoy the lake views at Lake View. Names in by 12:15 and all are welcome. This casual day is perfect for the new golfer, non golfer or anyone who isn't keen on having to hit every shot! The mixed ambrose is sponsored by G. Taylor, Elders. A BBQ tea will follow so please bring a salad or sweet to share.
Winner of the second pre-season stableford held on Easter Saturday was Cheryl Snell who was keen to show the form the week before was no fluke, coming in with a very solid 42 points. Cheryl now heads off for a few weeks to hone her skills whilst playing some of the courses in Adelaide, Broome and Darwin. Runner up was Stephen Roberts with a great score of 36 points, also capturing the coveted birdie (Easter Chicken) prize.
