Sixty eight people were a part of the rally with forty vintage cars in attendance; the earliest being 1915, with 1980 the latest. Organiser Steve Newbold said the rally was well supported with cars coming from as far afield as Kalgoorlie, Geraldton, Margaret River, Albany and Perth.
A Morris Mini Cooper was admired by the local police and it was noted that this particular car used to be a police pursuit vehicle in Boulder! Owner Wendy Hudson, a member of the Great Southern Section Veteran Car Club of WA (Inc), drove up from Kendenup on Sunday morning to attend the event.
The weekend included visits to the Bluebird Interpretive Centre, Lake Dumbleyung, a movie at Wagin’s Little Gem Theatre and plane rides.
