Guests from Kukerin, Nyabing, Wagin and Dumbleyung created beautiful pieces and enjoyed an array of nibbles included in the workshop. All guests first learnt how to draw a female torso by dividing their page into quarters and drawing a few circles – it really is that easy!! The paint then came out and Emilie took the group, step by step, through a number of watercolour techniques.
Then an hour or so later the masterpieces were complete. All original one off pieces, everyone signed their artwork and put them on display to share with one another. All so similar, yet so different, it was an awesome night out, with even the ‘I’m not creative’ walking out with new found creative talents.
A massive thank you to all who attended the event and a huge thanks to Emilie of Sketch Social who travelled from Perth to host the workshop locally. It was a brilliant evening and a nice way to get together with other ladies before the busy seeding season begins.
