Community Garden Harvest 

What’s fresh and ready for harvest in the community garden? Lemons, oranges, broccoli, lemongrass and many other sumptuous herbs. You can collect in the CRC or pop into the garden (located behind the CRC) and pick fresh. Donations welcome! See the donation tin located near the garden shed. 

Dumbleyung Fire Brigade AGM

Dumbleyung Men's Shed seeking goods! 

​Seeking parts and tyres for a K85 International truck. Tyres are 750x20. The Men’s Shed are hoping to restore an ex-Brian Bracknell truck. If you can help please contact Graham Wilson on 0428492635 or Ray Richards 0408959451.

Year 12 Resume and Interview Skills Workshop

Are you in Year 12 and needing to create or update your resume and wanting to practise your interview skills? The Dumbleyung CRC are here to help! On Tuesday July 11th at 2pm, the CRC will host either a one-on-one or a group session (depending on interest) covering resume and interview tips and tricks. Following the workshop we will host mock interviews for you to practise what you’ve learnt.

Cost is $30 per person one-on-one or a reduced price if more interest. Registration is essential so please contact the CRC to attend on 9863 4829 or email admin@dumbleyungcrc.com. The workshop includes take home notes to assist you with your employment journey!

Well Women's clinic is coming to Kukerin and Dumbleyung!

​A female GP will be at the Kukerin Health Centre (morning) and Dumbleyung Hospital (afternoon) on Friday July 28th. To make an appointment for your FREE pap smear, breast check and women’s health advice, please contact the Southern Wheatbelt Primary Health Narrogin on 9881 0385.

Regional Telecommunications Summit in Kukerin

A FREE event will be held at Cambinata Yabbies on Thursday July 27 from 10am. A morning session facilitated by Faming Champions Inc. will present an opportunity for attendees to share their experiences with current telecommunications and explore opportunities that improved connectivity will facilitate for the wellbeing of regional Australians and the economic growth of Australia.
Afternoon session will be the WA State of Innovation Sumit with Moderator Senator Linda Reynolds, preliminary Alliance of Research and Innovation and a panel of presenters including:
  • Peter Rundle MLA, Member of Roe
  • Penny Griffin, Principal Project officer, Regional Telecommunications at Department of Commerce
  • Jim Wyatt, principal at Optimi Digital, top expert on WA’s regional telecommunication
  • John Oliver, Oliver Rural IT Solutions
  • Lachlan McMahon, Managing Director, FTP Solutions Pty Ltd
