Birthday Messages Happy belated Birthday Hayden Gossage! We hope you had an awesome day! Happy Birthday tomorrow to Nick Green! We hope you have a great day! Happy Birthday to Graeme Jose this Friday! We hope you have a lovely day! Community Garden Update Allan English and Eric Gossage joined community garden regulars and erected the arbour between the Dumbleyung Caravan Park and Community Garden. Well done workers, especially Allan and Eric. Summer planting has started, though the temperatures we’ve been having are not helping, I’m sure what will change. Working bees are every Thursday morning – all are welcome! If you can give 30 mins or even two hours we’d love to see you! Currently ready to pick – variety of herbs, broad beans, beetroot and silverbeet. The mulberries are also very sweet and juicy! The honesty box has been a help to pay for re planting - thank you! We have been delighted with comments from visitors, particularly when they wish their town had a centre like ours. Article by G.Lathwell Battery Drive Fundraiser Dumbleyung Gymnastics Club’s major fundraiser for 2018 will be a battery drive. Starting NOW, we will accept any car, boat or truck/tractor batteries. These can be dropped off to Paul Nenke at Cambinata Yabbies anytime – if you have a lot, we can come to you! All parents involved in the club can collect the batteries or please deliver to us. As this is a major fundraiser, we need all members to get on board and help raise money for the club. Please note this is REPLACING our usual football catering fundraiser – instead of a roster or making afternoon teas. Please get behind this plan, as we need all hands on deck to make this a success! Thanks heaps, Amanda Nenke – President |
