This epic achievement has raised thousands of dollars with 100% of all proceeds of this day based on commercial crouching rates will be forwarded to Megan Henry. To firstly remind her that her community stands with her as she challenges a life changing operation and also to remove some of the financial load of going interstate. There have been many special times in 25 years living in Dumbleyung.....the efforts of Saturday and Monday rank right at the top of that list. Thank you to each and every person who contributed in any way across many ways on the day and leading up to the days. You are all amazing humans! Donations for the Drought via Dumbleyung Men’s ShedDo you want to provide a donation to those effected by the drought but don’t know how? The Dumbleyung and Districts Men’s Shed is taking donations to help those in need. An initiative of Albany Men’s Shed, the Dumbleyung Men’s Shed is jumping on board and asking any locals who would like to donate to contact Bob Hannah 0417 183 873, Graham Wilson 0428 492 635 or Lee Forward 0427 048 486 by the end of August. Defibrillators in our ShireRecently the Shire has purchased new Defib machines and we now have them located locally at the: Dumbleyung Pool/ Golf club (seasonally shared), Dumbleyung Ag Supplies, Dumbleyung District Club, Nenke Park Pavilion, Kukerin Health Centre & Lake Dumbleyung. We would like to make sure everyone has the skills and confidence to know how to use the Defibrillator. (It’s not difficult!) We would like to offer one of our friendly, skilled, local volunteers to up skill you and your club/ group.
