Before long the formalities began and Dumbleyung Netball Club life member presented fellow Dumbleyung 'duck' Katrina Gray with her life membership - a very deserving award, congratulations Katrina! The vote count then began for the Lake Grace Kukerin Hockey Club and Kukerin Dumbleyung Football B-Grade. The rounds flew past as quickly as the season did and before we knew it Mains were served - a delicious three course meal catered by Citrons.
Dumbleyung Men's Hockey Club player, Matt Gilfellon shared their season’s efforts following main course before presidents of the Dumbleyung Netball Club and Kukerin Dumbleyung Football Club A Grade completed their seasons vote count. Following the awards MC and comedian 'JImmy' took the floor, filling the room with laughter. Hayden McGlinn began and closed the evening with a great music with people freely moving between the bar and dance floor as the night progressed.
Well done to everyone involved in creating a fun night to recognise the great achievements across our Shire. Congratulations to all players this season and in particular the 2017 award winners,
Kukerin Dumbleyung Football Club
