‘It’s in the Bag’ asks people to donate an old bag, handbag or similar, filled with sanitary items and personal hygiene products – the everyday luxuries homeless women, women at risk and women experiencing domestic violence may not have or be able to afford.
What to put in the bag?
Shampoo, Conditioner, Toothbrush, Toothpaste, Soap, Deodorant and Sanitary Items. You may also chose to put a small Christmas card in the bag for the girl/women who will receive your goodies. As much as you’d like to give more this festive season please do not put any other items in the bag.
Want to help and join this campaign?
Simply find an old bag, put the above items inside the bag and drop off to the Dumbleyung CRC by Friday November 15. We will then pass onto the Wheatbelt organiser who will drop off the bags to local and regional organisations with girls and women in need.
