Students visited an old Nippering campsite of aboriginal significance. The students were shown bush food, how to collect and grind seeds and practiced their boomerang throwing. The group then travelled to Pussycat Hill where they enjoyed a walking trail and learnt about the aboriginal bush telephone.
Grant and Anne Riley explained their family connection to the land and the historical background of the Shire, when they visited the Wheatfields house and surrounds.
The group then visited Dumbleyung CRC and Bluebird interpretive display, enjoying pizzas and hot roast beef rolls from local Cafe along came Henry.
